Ryan Hawk is an award winning Seattle based photojournalist and videographer. His background and training are in documentary style photojournalism, primarily in newspaper and magazines. His work can be seen in many publications worldwide as well as on grounds at Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo, where he is the staff photographer/videographer.

His workflow is entirely digitally based and includes production in HD video using Panasonic HDX-900 and HVX-200 (tapeless workflow) and the Sony Cine Alta HDW-F900 cameras. His still photography is shot on the most current professional Nikon DSLR equipment.

Ryan's work can been seen internationally on Animal Planet's Baby Planet, Discovery Channel's Bear Attack and CBC-Radio's Zooville. Also look for his cover art on KMTT's Live from the Mountain Music Lounge CD, available in Starbucks stores.
